Cancellation & Refund

In case the Char Dham yatra is delayed due to bad weather or any other unforeseen reasons, the journey will be conducted on the next available day. If not, then a 5% Service Charge + Utilized Services (Hotel Stay and Transportation) will be applicable in case of cancellation.

• Operator will not be liable for cancelled or delayed flights due to force majeure. Refunds will be given as per this policy.
• No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals or any other extra travel expenses incurred shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
• If tour departure does not take place from Dehradun on Day One, the tour will be considered cancelled and refund given as per this policy.
• If passengers wish to take the tour on the next available date, a fresh booking can be made — the balance/unutilized amount can be adjusted. Any extra costs will be borne by the passengers.
• If the tour departs as scheduled but gets disrupted while ongoing, our team will propose the possible revised itinerary within the scheduled package days, without any extension of days.
• In case for 05 straight days flying does not take place, a refund will be provided as per this policy.
• Passengers scheduled to depart on their confirmed travel date shall be accorded priority over any backlog passengers from previous days.
• If a passenger gets stuck at Kedarnath top due to bad weather or Force Majeure, the accommodation charges at Kedarnath will be borne by the client directly.
• Additional night-halt charges will be payable by the passengers to hotels on a direct payment basis for additional nights due to bad weather / force majeure over and above the 5N/6D period.
• Extra helicopter flying at the end of tour: INR 1,80,000/Hr + UCADA royalty & landing charges + GST.

• Rescheduling to any future or prior travel date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the total tour cost. Permitted only if informed at least 30 days before the arrival date.
• If rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to travel, the booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

While the tour is ongoing, if any group demands to cancel their tour mid-way, the arrangement of transportation will be done by Atulya Hotels; however, the cost for the same will be borne by the passengers on a direct payment basis. No refund will be provided for the unused services in such cases.

• All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to sales@atulyahotels.com with the booking reference number. The date of receipt of this written request shall be the cancellation date.
• Approved refunds are processed within 10 to 15 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
• Refunds are credited only to the original payment instrument / bank account from which the payment was received.
• Refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) only. Forex rate fluctuations on international cards are not borne by us.
• Payment-gateway charges (3.5% on credit/debit card; 4.5% on Amex / foreign cards) and bank charges are non-refundable.

We strongly recommend that every pilgrim purchases comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation and personal accident. Atulya Heli Yatra can guide you to insurance partners but does not directly provide insurance.
